I’m doing a design project on architecture in Philadelphia so I’m thankful that I got a start on picture taking early. It’s been crazy here in Pennsylvania and I’m sure other surrounding states that have been affected by the rain and flooding know what i mean. My hometown is currently being overtaken by the Susquehanna River and I’ve been pretty sad lately seeing pictures of main street covered in a few feet of water. Everything will recede, cleanup will happen, and perhaps for a town falling away from community this will be a great way to come together. Crosses fingers*
I’ve been busier than ever, but I’m taking it in strides remembering that I’m lucky to be where I am doing what I do. So I’m looking forward to the next few months of busy schedules and projects. I can’t wait for scarf season, apple pies, Autumn and pumpkins. More pictures to come!
I’ve been listening to a lot of old Frames albums and I bought tickets to see Lisa Hannigan at Milkboy next month! It’s an early happy-birthday-to-myself gift.

In order of events from the day, these photos are from a trip to Buffalo, NY.
Summer is officially winding down, I hope to be working on some new projects soon.
To get you back into the work week, take many breaks reading this—->here

I really liked this shot of the river I snapped last week during a bike ride. I’ve been trying to pack the last bits of summer left full of bike rides and outdoorsy adventures.
The weather here has been really crazy the last few days, thunderstorms and showers every hour or so. Getting my film developed and seeing pictures like this make stormy days not so bad.
I hope you’re having a pretty nice weekend.

This is from a trip to the Adirondacks a few weeks ago. The lake was beautiful, Blue Herons scooping up the catch of the day and fish jumping (and taunting me) the whole time. I caught two fish, a small mouth bass and a perch.
This lake is also where Paul Smith’s College calls home. My dad went there for Forestry school so we make our way back there every now and then. We rented canoes and paddled around, fishing, exploring and finding rope swings to jump off of.
My camera is still a bit shaky, I am getting really bothered with the light leaks. I picked out the better portion of the pictures, but a lot were ruined. What am I doing wrong!?
I walked through Chestnut Hill early one morning and snapped a few shots. It’s always nice to stroll around and see something new.
The other two shots are from center city, Philadelphia. I have a new roll of black and white film coming soon.

I’m in love with this website, seriously. Now I just want to throw dinner parties every night and forget all responsibilities! Seriously though, wonderful pictures.
All this heat is making me really lazy. I just want to curl up in my bed and eat popsicles. If that makes any kind of sense…
Anyway, instead of succumbing to the summer heat, I’ve been getting pretty excited about heading to the adirondacks in a few weeks and jumping into lakes. It’s been a great summer so far!
